ERPA Systeme GmbH was founded in Munich in 1983 by Dr. Volkhard Erlacher. The company is specialised in the development of software solutions for the packaging industry. Since André Koenig restructured ERPA in 1998,  the companies' headquaters is based in Goettingen, Germany. In 2001 André Koenig and Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Markus Plannerer joined ERPA's management.

ERPA sees the compact size of the company as an advantage in a market where quick demand reaction, flexibility and special knowledge of CAD CAM solutions are required.

In addition to our selfdeveloped 3D CAD CAM software VERPAK / VPACK ® and  software for pallet optimisation palOPTI ®, we offer a wide range of soft- and hardware products for an efficient and modern packaging development and production to our customers.

That includes for instance cutting machines of the well known manufacturers ZUND and ARISTO, printers, additional software products, the ERPA-EBD-Server for your specific enterprise resource planning system, databases and any other equipment of your R&D department. ERPA supports the education, research and business development of the packaging industry.

Important for us is the cooperation between universities, software- and packaging industry. We are thus involved in several packaging and software bodies to create the future of this exciting industry.

We sell our software under special terms and conditions to universities and vocational schools to offer a practical and forward-looking education to the youth.
